Yesterday the group went into the city of Florence to visit the Uffizi museum (post to come). After the museum a few of us walked around the city. We went to the department store, an old pharmacy with perfumes from Santa Maria Novella, and then out to lunch at a small place by the bidges. Side note: I walked over a bridge and didn't freak out = major improvement. In the afternoon, it seemed as if everyone slept back at the hostel until dinner time. Four of us went to a place down Via Pisana and of course got gelato after.

Ieri siamo andati al museo degli Uffizi. Dopo il museo, abbiamo camminato per la città e abbiamo visitato il grande magazzino, una farmacia che vendeva profumi, e mangiava a pranzo vicino al ponte.
